This alone should have caused the Tesla stock to rise higher than it did when Elon Musk announced it. The purple area is the existing building, and this expansion is going to be very impactful. Cost: About $4B. But Tesla has $22B in cash, so, no biggie, and no borrowing (so that they remain debt-free). And the Nevada government is making an exit on I-80 specifically for this factory.
This is what it'll look like when done (the entire roof except for the "TESLA" will be solar panels). And when done, it'll be the largest factory in the world. And you'll be able to read the "TESLA" from the air when flying into the Reno/Tahoe airport.
