More Education is Needed
Take
a look at this survey that was taken.
The answers
to these three questions clearly show
that the public is woefully miseducated about EVs.
About one-third of those polled believe that
gasoline cars cost less to fill up than EVs!
And about one-third of those polled think that EVs are no
better at reducing air pollution than gasoline cars!
And when asked which type of car would you rather own, almost half said a gasoline-powered car. The real question here is, of those who said this, how many were knowledgable about EVs? Because the more people know about EVs (their benefits), the more people buy them. So this also suggests that a lot more education is needed.
