United Auto Works Union Corrupt or Clueless?
Here's why the president of the UAW union has discredited himself. He said, in referring to non-union auto plants, "Most of those workers are just scraping to get by, so that greedy CEOs and greedy people like Elon Musk can build rocket ships and shoot themselves into outer space."

If I know that Tesla's assembly line employees have compensation packages that are better than UAW members' compensation packages, he has to know this too. But he doesn't care about that; he wants as many union members as possible, because more members equals more dues equals more money for the union.
There are, today, Tesla assembly line workers who have been with the company since 2018, and their stock options would make them a millionaire today if they sold all their stock. And the UAW president knows this too, but he doesn't care. The UAW tried once before to unionize Tesla, and their efforts failed because the employees overwhelmingly said "NO". But that won't stop the UAW president from trying to unionize Tesla (even though it should).
And by-the-way, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is not greedy, and has not gone up in any of his rockets. The greedy CEO who has gone up in one of his rockets is Jeff Bezos, but he doesn't own a car manufacturing company. UAW members have a very confused person as their president. But since previous UAW presidents have gone to prison for corruption and embezzlement, Shawn is a step up. But give him time; he's only been there two months.
