Why are China and Europe way ahead
of the United States in EV adoption?
or
Why is the United States so far
behind the EV adoption curve?

Answer: The influence of the fossil fuel and the American automobile manufacturing industries. Neither of these two industries want EVs, because EVs will reduce their profits. It doesn't matter to them that EVs are better for the consumer, the environment, and future generations. In the U.S. most of the EV lies, myths, and misinformation are courtesy of those industries (through their propaganda organizations).

In China, the automobile industry is full of startup EV companies, and their legacy automakers are quickly transitioning to EVs because they see the handwriting-on-the-wall, and because both the government and the consumers want them . And Teslas are selling very well there.

Europe's German automakers are dragging their feet because they too don't want EVs, but at least they're trying (because of the pressure from Tesla who now has a factory in Germany). And Tesla is the main reason why the EV adoption rate is so high in Europe.

In the U.S., Tesla is the biggest EV manufacturer, but the EV misinfo is strong in the U.S. compared to China and Europe where people "get" EVs.

What do we in the U.S. need? Three things. Less EV misinformation, more objective facts about EVs (see below), and the realization that U.S. consumers are being fed lots of BS about EVs (because that BS is not going away anytime soon).
