Where did they get all that cash from?
From the increasing sales of their cars.
And what are they spending all that money on?
According to Tesla...
"We are simultaneously:

ramping new products
• building or ramping manufacturing facilities on three continents
• piloting the development and manufacturing of new battery cell
technology
• expanding our Supercharger network, and
• investing in autonomously driven cars and in AI training products"
And why are they doing all this?
To make the world a better place to live in, for us and for future generations.
Do other automobile manufacturers have similar goals? No they do not.
