is proud to offer the best rebounder (mini-trampoline) made - the ReboundAIR
rebounder. The difference between this rebounder and the inexpensive store-bought
models is like night and day. I started out with one of those $60 products,
but found I didn't stick with it. I understood the benefits of rebounding,
but my body didn't like it. When I tried a friend's high quality rebounder,
I immediately knew why I didn't like it. My cheap rebounder was very stiff
compared to this one. The difference was in the feel of the bounce. This
rebounder was enjoyable! Everyone who has compared the ReboundAIR
to a store-bought rebounder says the same thing... it feels a lot better,
and when you enjoy an exercise, you'll do it more often. Sure this rebounder
costs more than the store-bought models, but it feels better, is more
enjoyable to use, and it'll last (and if you use a rebounder with regularity,
the cheap ones will not last).
And also, this rebounder
easily folds in half for storage and transportation! (See photo below).
Low
impact exercise with
high marks for lymphatic performance
The benefits of rebounding
are many. Your lymphatic system will thank you, as will your legs, knees,
hips, and your sense of balance. And not only can you do rebounding in
your bare feet, but it's actually better that you do!
The ReboundAIR rebounder
is about 40 inches in diameter and 10 inches high. It is safe, easy to
use, and effective. Research has led some scientists to conclude that,
"Rebound exercise is the most efficient and effective exercise yet devised
by man."
The rebounder subjects
the body to gravitational forces ranging from zero at the top of each
bounce, to two to three times the force of gravity at the bottom, depending
on how high you bounce. Unlike jogging or running on hard surfaces, which
puts tremendous stress on certain joints such as the ankles and knees
(eventually damaging them), rebounding affects every joint and cell in
the body equally, and gently.
"The mini-trampoline [rebounder]
provides a convenient form of exercise with a major advantage being
its apparent low level of trauma to the musculoskeletal system."
- Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, 1990
"Rebounding is an extremely easy exercise in
which all that's basically required is a slight up-and-down bouncing
to continuously and aggressively clean the body's defense system
of waste matter... As little as five or six minutes a day can be
of immeasurable value." - Harvey Diamond, Author, Fit for Life

Rebounding stimulates
all internal organs, moves the cerebral-spinal fluid, aqueous fluid within
the eyes (many people experience improved eyesight), and does wonders
for the intestines. Many immune cells such as T-lymphocytes and macrophages
are self-propelled by amoebic action. All cells in the body become stronger
in response to the increased G-forces during rebounding, and this "cellular
exercise" benefits the immune system! As you rebound, every cell
is strengthened and cleansed as toxins are eliminated from your body.
(The lymphatic channels are placed under hydraulic pressure to move fluids
containing waste products of metabolism around and out of the body.)
A routine of
regular rebounding exercise enhances health and fitness and reduces
the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer.

The Detoxification
Effect of Rebounding
The lymphatic
system is the metabolic garbage-can of the body. It rids you of
toxins such as dead and cancerous cells, nitrogenous wastes, infectious
pathogens, heavy metals, and metabolic wastes cast off by the cells.
The movement performed in rebounding provides the stimulus for a
free-flowing system that drains away these potential poisons.
Unlike the blood
circulatory system, the lymphatic system does not have its own pump.
It has no heart muscle to move the fluid around through its lymph
vessels. There are just three ways to move the flow of lymph away
from the tissues it serves. Lymphatic flow requires muscular
contraction from exercise and movement, gravitational pressure,
and internal massage to the valves of lymph ducts.
Rebounding supplies
all three methods of removing waste products from the cells and
from the body. Then arterial blood enters the capillaries to furnish
cells with food and oxygen. Rebounding's bouncing motion effectively
moves and recycles both the lymph and blood supplies through their
circulatory systems many times during the course of the rebounding
session.

This
is the best rebounder on the market... and I have researched all of
them. (Beware of imitations) It comes with a carrying case and it
folds in half (see photo to the right), and I can easily fit it in
my little Honda Civic. |

What
makes it such a great rebounder
The mat and the springs.
The mat is made of Permatron, and is 1,000 times more comfortable
than the rubber or vinyl mats used on less expensive rebounders found
in sporting goods stores, and Permatron won't sag or stretch. It
lets your feet achieve a more natural position at all points in the bounce.
The springs
are barrel shaped (bottom photo), and make no mistake about it,
the shape of the spring greatly affects the feel of the bounce.
The tension of the spring changes at different points along its
elongation... a fancy way of saying that it gives the bounce a better
feel than the cheaper, straight springs (top photo). And high quality
springs don't break.
This mat and
these springs allow this rebounder to have a comfortable "soft"
bounce.

"Some mini trampolines cost less
than $100, but the surface of these inexpensive models can be unstable
and allow too much recoil too quickly which can throw your ankles,
knees, and hips out of alignment... Your best bet? Find one that supports
at least 250 pounds and is 36 inches or more in diameter. Expect to
pay $200 to $300." |

"...Thanks
also for the information about rebounding and the
high quality rebounder. As a busy working mom, I make
a lot of excuses about fitting exercise in every day,
but the rebounder allows me to have fun and do important
exercise while catching up on the news. I enjoy it
